SEMINAR: From Seed to Fulfillment: From Dream to Project development

Facilitated by Arlene and Jean-Claude Audergon

6-9 October 9:30 – 5: 30 Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and 9:30 – 1 on Friday

Interchange Studios, 213 Haverstock Hill NW34QP, London, near Belsize Park tube station (Northern Line)

In a way we’ve been developing this seminar for many years, and look forward to study with you the mystery of process, how to stay near to your deepest dreaming - or that of your project , organisation or community, while meeting all sorts of limits and troubles, and surprising twists and turns.  After some 30 years of working with individuals, groups, organisations and communities in conflict, our belief in the inherent creativity within individuals, organisations and community, and the capacity in people to resolve conflict has grown - even as we are more aware than ever of the terrible and real limits in all of us.

We are ever inspired by the original ideas of Process Work, that if you bring awareness to the subtlest of sensations or signals, you find yourself linking up to transformative processes driving you, shaping your personal life, the organisations you are connected to, and the collective issues of our times. And your problems carry the seeds of a solution or creative direction.

People often say how they want to make a difference in this world, by having contact to a sense of meaning and deep creativity – or they find it, but lose it in problems of power, feeling isolated in dealing with the difficulties of a project, or just surviving in this world. The song is no longer so sweet, the theatre piece loses its heart, or the social action project cannot meet demands from the so-called ‘mainstream’ and is never supported. Many of us try to catch an idea and run with it, but get easily disorientated, disillusioned, hopeless or ‘adult’. Many of us somehow do achieve what we set out to do, none the less.  Many of us would be happier if we had more of an orientation and tools to connect to the inherent essence and evolution of our work and what first called us.

We will learn and experiment with tools to:

  • Catch and nourish a seed and first sprout of a new idea or project
  •  Discover the bridge between your inner world and outer context, learn how processes structure all levels personal, relational, team, organisational, colllective
  • Work within teams, organisations, social and political structures , with short and long term goals
  • Work with blocks, polarizations, inner and outer critics, zigs and zags, and staying close to the initial impulse and orientation, while including feedback and new directions
  •  Play and create ‘getaways’,  from one minute to one week, to refresh and discover new resources
  • Culmination, milestones, fulfillment, and catching a seed

We might do some filming. If you are interested particularly in studying the evolution of your dreaming and project, we may be interested in filming you before, during and after, so be in touch.

Looking forward,
Arlene and Jean-Claude
