Private Sessions and Consultation
Arlene and Jean-Claude work with individuals, couples or families, and teams and organizations. Sessions
are either face to face or over the phone. Arlene and Jean-Claude have been in practice as therapists and consultants
for over 22 years and 30 years respectively. Their approach is Process Oriented Psychology, ( or Process Work)
and 'deep democracy'.(Arnold Mindell). They are both long-time students and colleagues of MIndell and teach internationally.
Together with our client(s), we explore difficulties and dreams, finding contact with a personal creative
direction. We look at the intent and goals that bring someone to private sessions, and we perceive and
explore underlying patterns and creative impulses that often first appear in subtle signals, difficult feelings, body symptoms
or altered states.Through this work, there is a surprising sense of possibility, a sense of contact to oneself and the world,
that is meaningful and also fun.
In organizations and communties, people often suffer from cycles of hurt, burnout, anger, revenge, frustration -caught in
patterns that are hurtful in their unconscious repetition - yet once the pattern can be accessed with awareness, it holds
a key to creative change. Individuals, couples and partners can feel a lot of pain at such blocks, within relationship
or family and as a result of internalized social values and critics that attack either person, or the relationship itself.
Awareness of these dynamics and the underlying creative and sentient experience or vision that holds two or more
people together can bring relief and transformation.
